A former Finance Minister, Dr Kwabena Duffuor, today, Thursday, 23 February 2023, picked forms to contest the flagbearership position of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He becomes the latest presidential hopeful to pick forms in the NDC after former President John Dramani Mahama, businessman Ernest Kwaku Kobeah and former Kumasi Mayor, Kojo Bonsu picked theirs on Wednesday, 22 February 2023.
Dr Duffuour declaredhis readiness to contest the NDC flagbearership race last year and has since been vocal on national issues.
He introduced the Ahotor project to help support NDC constituency offices to raise money to support them run their offices and also to campaign.
The deadline for interested candidates to pick forms is Friday, 24 February 2023.
Dr Duffuor is hoping to beat the favourite, Mr Mahama, to become the next flagbearer and leader of the NDC.
