Ejura-Sekyedumase MP encourages constituents to unite for victory 2024

Mr. Bawa Muhammad Braimah, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ejura-Sekyedumase in the Ashanti region has pleaded with members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the constituency to eschew anything that could end up internal division in the party and put the party forward beyond parochial interest.

According to him, the party interest must be Paramount in moving forward to ensure a resounding victory for both the Presidential and Parliamentary candidates of the NDC come 2024 general elections.

The Member of Parliament gave the advice at the orientation and capacity building for the youth organizers of branches in the constituency organized by the Ashanti regional youth wing of the party to ensure vigorous and vigilant campaign in the general elections.

The MP who was contested by other three people in the last parliamentary primaries expressed his optimism for NDC wining the general elections convincingly considering what he described as the unity of purpose and enthusiasm among the youth, which is said demonstrated their commitment and readiness for a vigorous and clean campaign to enable the party secure the victory they are all yearning for.

According him, when there is an elections, some people takes entrench position when they did not win but believe constituency untoward is going happen as he is NDC is going to win both the Presidential and Parliamentary for the constituency once they are ready to rise above individual interest.

He entreated members of the party to forgive one another on whatever happened during the primaries and put the party first, as they can win power in 2024 only when they remains united, for they will fail with a divided front.

Osman Ayariga, the National Deputy youth organizer of the NDC commended the constituency executives for retaining the MP to contest on the ticket of the NDC.

He noted that the victory for the party in the 2024 general elections largely depends on the youth, and entreated them to be more committed by putting much efforts and energy devoid of mistakes in the 2016-20 elections to ensure that the party wins and form a new government in the upcoming general elections.

Osman Abdullah Nabali, the Ashanti regional youth organizer also disclosed that purpose for the orientation and capacity building initiative is to encourage and motivate the party youth and to instill the sense of belongingness in them to enable them know that, the own the party.
He is of the view that, once they realizes the party belongs to them they will fully contributes their quota in the mobilization of voters to ensure that the party wins the elections for them.
