The former Constituency Chairman of Afigya Kwabere South of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as Coka, has called on Ghanaians to ensure peaceful elections during the upcoming December 7 polls.
Speaking at a church service in the Afigya Kwabere South Constituency on Friday, November 29, 2024, Chairman Coka stressed the need for respect and civility throughout the electoral process.
“We’re not going to fight; we’re not going to insult each other. We’re going to exercise our Kokromoti power (right to vote),” he said, urging all eligible voters to participate responsibly.
Chairman Coka also reminded citizens that electoral commission officers are part of their communities and should be treated with the utmost respect.
Let’s give the needed respect to the regulations and the officers at the various polling stations. They are our relatives, friends, husbands, and wives,” he added.
