Dr.Frank Amoakohene, Ashanti Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress has said that filing of nomination for Parliamentary Candidate Elections continues today and ends tomorrow, Wednesday, 22nd March, 2023.
In a statement copied to broadcastergh.com today ,he maintained that nominations can be filed either at the Constituency or Regional Secretariat.
He said, Constituency Secretaries are to make sure that all nominations reach the regional Secretariat by Midday, Thursday, 23rd March, 2023.
The workaholic secretary indicated further in the statement that ,any Member of the Constituency Executive Committee (either
elected or appointed) who wishes to contest as Parliamentary
Candidate shall resign his position, upon the submission of his
completed nomination forms.
“A copy of the resignation letter must be submitted to the constituency and a copy attached to the nomination forms
All Constituencies that have not submitted their updated delegates list and/or GCB account are to do so before Friday.” He deduced.
