Five Astute Golfers From Sinapi Aba Savings And Loans Bag Awards

Five astute Golfers from Sinapi Aba Savings and Loans over the weekend bagged five out of fifteen awards at the 64th Asantehene Open Golf Championship held in Kumasi at the Royal Golf Club.
The phenomenal team were part of a 200 professional and amateur golfers who showcased their prowess competing for 15 awards in three main categories.
After the three days the Sinapi Aba team won in the following categories:
Support Group B: First (1st) and Third (3rd) positions (Gold and Bronze)
Ladies: First (1st) Position (Gold)
Handicap: Second (2nd) Position and Forth (4th) Positions.
The prestigious event which has over the years served as a platform where both professional and amateur golfers showcase their prowess, brought together golf lovers as well as people from the business world who take advantage of the competition to meet and talk about business as well.
Tee-off
The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei-Tutu II, the Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Ghana, Patricia Obo-Nai, and other dignitaries, including government officials, corporate executives, business leaders, as well as professional and amateur golfers across the country and the sub-region, participated in the majestic ceremonial tee-off.
The Chief Finance Officer for Sinapi Aba, Mr Tony Appiah, on behalf of the winning team expressed profound gratitude to Management of Sinapi Aba for their support to the team.
He described the competition as very tough but said, their desire to strive for the best led to the feat chalked by the team.
Mr Appiah was upbeat that with the current state of the team, they were poised and ready to do battle anytime they are called upon to play again.
