Pln.Rtn. Jennifer Owusu Afriyie,a planning officer at the Ghana Standard Authority and a Rotarian has emerged the overall youth personality of the year,2023 at the just ended awards night organised by Smivic communication limited, in Accra.
She became the first ever female staff at the Ghana Standard Authority planning department to win this award.
The event which took place at the national theatre, Accra aimed at honouring outstanding individuals and organisations who have made significant contributions to their respective fields from innovative entrepreneur to influential thought leaders.
Expressing her heartfelt gratitude to the organizers of the highly anticipated national platinum awards, Ms.Owusu Afriyie who won the overall youth personality said, it is a win for all women who are working to bring growth to their work places. This award is going to inspired me to work hard to accelerate growth at everywhere l will find myself, she hinted.
“I am are grateful for this opportunity and l wish it will continue into the future and can have more of our women winning this award”.
Guest speakers such as Professor Raymond Atuguba,the Dean of students at the University of Ghana School of Law,Professor Ransford Gyampo,hon.Joycelyn Tetteh,MP and others shared their wisdom and insights with the audience.
