Parliamentary Candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Bosomefreho constituency of the Ashanti Region, Charles Appiah Kubi has vowed to complete all unfinished projects, including those initiated by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, should he be elected in 2024 as the next MP for the area.
He said the NDC was a patriotic and well-meaning political party that believed in the spirit of continuity and was determined not to waste the resources of taxpaying citizens.
“I’m making a promise that when we come, we will continue all abandoned projects.
Even projects that this current NPP government does not finish, we will continue and finish because they are funded by taxpayers’ money, so when you abandon them, you’re wasting the money of Ghanaians,” he said.
Hon Charles Appiah Kubi said this yesterday during a campaign tour of the constituency with the Ashanti regional chairman of the NDC and his campaign team.
The campaign tour which was more of community engagement brought together Nananom and community members from various communities such as Duase,Dompa,Tumiabu,Mmrontoɔ who are within and outside the party to share their experiences and discuss topics of mutual interest to create social connections and a sense of community.
Hon Charles Appiah Kubi made the promise after accusing the current administration of neglecting landmark projects that the NDC party started in the constituency, before the NDC left office in 2016.
He made it clear that John Mahama is poised to continue free education policy in the Country.
He advised constituents to shun the NPP’s lies against John Mahama that his second coming will see to the cancellation of the free SHS.
Adding that Mahama constructed the E-Blocks facility to create room and accommodation for the implementation of the free SHS.
He was not happy as to why some of the E-Blocks schools have been abandoned by the NPP government.
“The NDC has done a lot in Bosomefreho constituency but we are not the type who come with a paper and read. Our people can see for themselves the work the NDC did when we were in office,” he stressed.
He however appealed to the people of Bosomefreho constituency to vote massively for him to represent them in Parliament for total transportation.
