A disturbing incident has unfolded in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital , where investigative journalist Isaac Nsiah Foster was viciously stabbed on his way home after a heated argument with a commercial bus conductor over a mere 50 pesewa fare dispute.

The altercation occurred yesterday when Foster boarded a TD bus with registration number GW 23 33 – 10 at Airport Roundabout and requested his rightful change.

Despite Foster’s efforts to defend himself, the conductor, driver, and an accomplice brutally stabbed him in the thigh with sharp objects upon arrival at his stop near Buokrom Estates junction.

The attack has raised alarming concerns about journalist safety and police accountability in Ghana.
