Joana Gyan Cudjoe Drives Transformational Development in Amenfi Central

Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, continues to make remarkable strides in improving the socio-economic well-being of her constituents through strategic interventions across key sectors, including education, healthcare, infrastructure, economic empowerment, and security.

The MP has facilitated the employment of 35 community teachers to support 28 basic schools across the constituency, positively impacting 8,829 pupils and 137 teachers.

In addition, she has provided financial support totaling GHS 589,680 to 39 schools within a seven-month period. Ongoing infrastructure projects include the construction of new schools and classroom blocks at Wuratrem DA Primary School and Ankasie DA Primary School, aimed at improving learning environments and access to quality education.

To enhance healthcare delivery and accessibility, Hon. Gyan Cudjoe is overseeing the construction of Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds at Ankasie, Jedua Kese, and Hiawa.

These facilities are expected to significantly reduce travel time for medical care and strengthen primary healthcare services in the constituency.

In the area of infrastructure, the MP has actively advocated for the rehabilitation of 33 critical roads to improve connectivity and facilitate economic activities.

Community roads have been reshaped, and several boreholes repaired to ensure reliable access to safe drinking water for residents.

Demonstrating a strong commitment to job creation, Hon. Gyan Cudjoe has invested in a block factory that provides employment opportunities for local youth.

She has also acquired land earmarked for the establishment of a future university, a project expected to boost educational opportunities and stimulate long-term economic growth in the area.

Security To enhance public safety, police stations have been established at Sraha Ayiem and Achichire, strengthening security presence and improving law enforcement response within the constituency.

Collectively, these initiatives underscore Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe’s dedication to inclusive development and her vision of transforming Amenfi Central into a hub of opportunity, growth, and improved quality of life for all residents.
