The incumbent member of Parliament for Manso Nkwanta constitucy in the Ashanti region,Hon.George Kwabena Obeng Takyi  has made it clear that Hon.Joe Wise, first deputy speaker of Parliament and MP for Bekwai Constituency gives him inspiration  whenever he goes to Parliament.
The MP who is serving on two committee now in Parliament (Agric committee and Governance Assurance) noted, he is learning alot as a fresher but not rushing to speak on the floor of Parliament simply because there are laid down procedures in the house and needs to learn alot and abide by the rules before he does alot for his constituents.
Speaking on kingdom 100.1 this Saturday with Nana Antwi Bosiako,he noted that Parliament is a place to learn and not to rush to speak on the floor .
His Take On Election Of The Speaker
“I was saddened with the unfortunate situation that happened in Parliament during the speaker elections.
I didn’t understand why our own members betrayed us by voting against our nominee.
People died for the love of our party ,lost alot of things because of the general elections and love for the  NPP so these people wanted us to vote for NPP speaker as members of Parliament to form a unique government in Parliament to fight for the development of the Nation.
People believe in the leadership of the NPP because NPP help Ghanaians alot so they always want NPP in government so our inability to get an NPP speaker didn’t help us as MPs  and for that matter NPP members” .He stressed
2020 Elections
The MP was not happy about the depreciation of election figures NPP got  in the 2020 general elections as compared to that of the 2016 elections figures.
Taxation
On taxation he said, education on taxation is very poor in Ghana, simply because those in charge of collecting the tax do not understand the concept.
Adding that, tax payment is a divine principle.
