An associate professor and the HOD for the department of political studies for KNUST, Edward Brenya has mentioned that leaders should know how to respond to agitations from citizens.

This follows a statement made by the paramount chief of Akyem -Abuakwa, Amoatia Ofori Panin that individuals who insults the President are either witches or villagers.

Speaking to kessben Media on breaking news today, he expressed his concerns about the statement made by the okyehene.

He explained that as a leader he should emulate good behavior to set as an example for the youth rather than to also insult ending up saying the same thing he is discouraging.

He further added that if the government is set to undergo developmental projects insults hauled at the government should not set a limit to redraw activities.

He commended that he was disappointed at the president’s statement at Otec FM and hence statement made by Presidents should be considered.
