Kumasi-based Prophet Emmanuel Kwaku Duah has resolved to work for the unity between the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu I.
Prophet Kwaku Duah has indicated that there is a hidden secret behind the feud between the Asantehene and the Dormaahene and reconciling the two Chiefs would enhance the development processes in nation building.
Even though he did not mention the secret specifically Prophet Kwaku Duah inferred that it has to do with spiritual connotations and assured to resolve the rift between the eminent chiefs by any means possible towards development of Ghana, which remains his priority.
He stated his position when he launched the New Ghana Quality Development Workers, a prayer group, in Kumasi.
The group would champion the vision of restoring hope in national rebuilding efforts and spearhead programmes and activities towards the development of the country.
He claimed he has found the key to Ghana’s development after two years of intensive intercessory prayers to redeem Ghana from its numerous woes.
He unveiled the symbolic key to Ghana’s development at the launch and entrusted the custody the key to Nana Akuoku Afriyie, Asantehemaa’s Sompahene and Nana Ampoma Kaakyire, Asantehemaa’s Nkwodwasuafuo, who would lead the crusade.
Prophet Kwaku Duah who also answers The Great Bible Prophet, said the group would champion the development of Ghana and help Ghana rise again noting that the development of Ghana does not depend on elections because the leaders have no key.
He said God has a covenant with Ghana but was destroyed when a Ghanaian leader brought in foreign mystical powers to rule the country.
According to him, God’s intervention is needed to redeem Ghana from its woes and that it is time Ghanaians take up the challenge and collectively work for the restoration of the covenant.
He has cautioned that Ghana would remain accursed if any political party leader goes in for powers of a deity to seek power in the 2024 elections.
A target of GHc300,000 has been set to fund the activities of the group over the three year period.
Both Nana Akuoku Afriyie, Asantehemaa’s Sompahene and Nana Ampoma Kaakyire, Asantehemaa’s Nkwodwasuafuo donated GHc10,000 each towards activities of the group while the Chief of Abrankese, has released a large parcel of land to the New Ghana Quality Development Workers.
The prophet also appealed to the leadership of the three main political parties which he named as New Patriotic party (NPP), National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Movement for Change as well as Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah of the Believers Worship Centre to support programmes and activities of the group towards National prayers for Ghana’s development.
He said each party leader should support the group with cars, equipment and logistics for its activities in the next three years to be effective in the restoration of hope in Ghana’s development process.
The prophet’s expectation of the three-long year crusade by the New Ghana Quality Development Workers is that Ghana’s local currency, the cedi, would eventually emerge as the most valuable currency globally.
