Led by Nana Agyemang Prempeh, elected NPP constituency executives in the Kumawu Constituency of the Ashanti Region have today paid a working visit to the office of the District Chief Executive of the area,Hon.Samuel Addai Agyekum .
The executive members used the opportunity to thank the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo for various developmental projects in the area and promised to work enhanced Party – government relationship.
The DCE, however,took time to walk them through various government programmes currently being implemented by Hon. Daniel Botwe led Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development .
The program included Safety Net and Green Project of which Kumawu District Assembly is a beneficiary.
He renewed commitment to deepening the relationship between his office and the Party.
The DCE in a brief remarks said, together they can work to break the 8 year political rule.
The DCE maintained that breaking the 8 must be a reality.
Adding that,there are alot of projects currently on -going in the District even under the global economic challenges.
The party executive members were overly excited about the pace of Kumawu District Hospital of which Nana – Bawumia Government found money to continue.
They expressed their gratitude towards the Regional Minister for his love for the District.
The constituency chairman however thanked Barima Sarfo Tweneboa Kodua, the Paramount Chief of Kumawu Traditional Council and the Nananom for releasing land to accommodate government projects and policies.
Finally, they met with the management of the Assembly to express their gratitude for always supporting government policies and agenda.
