Mr.Kofi Adade , Assembly Member of Dadease electoral area in the Sekyere Kumawu District in the Ashanti Region has called on stakeholders and those who are blessed financially to assist him have Educational Fund in his community to sponsor brilliant but needy students.
Hon Kofi Adade who is also a news reporter for Kumasi based Oyerepa fm/Tv and known in the media circles as Al Jazeera has already donated Five Hundred Ghana Cedis ( Ghc500 ) to his Community ahead of the fund raising program scheduled on the 27th of December ,2021.
According to him, developing his area is very important to him as he used to support various schools within his enclave with teaching and learning materials like pens, pencils, chalks, exercise books.
Mr. Kofi Adade has as way back 2013 donated Seventeen Computers, Twenty Laptops, among others to various schools in his electoral area when he wasn’t even the assembly member of the area.
He has consistently promised to have educational fund for the area through fund raising and as a leader, he has set the pace by contributing Five Hundred Ghana Cedis ( Ghc500 ) ahead of the main event.
The donation was to open an official account for the Fund Raising and to ensure that the money is used judiciously for the intended purpose.
He called on all Kumawu Dadease citizens in and out of
the community to participate in the program as they are the sole beneficiaries of it after being successful.
The head pastor of Salvation Army Church at Kumawu Dadease pastor Isaac Tweneboa Kodua received the money on behalf of the community and showed a kind appreciation to Hon Kofi Adade. He said that, he has been to many places and been with many opinion leaders but he is exceptional in terms of supporting our area in development.
He mentioned that, the community is going to get bank account in no time with the amount received from Hon Kofi Adade and it will be giving out for others to also contribute through and again called on everyone to come during the main program to make the plan successful.
