The Kumawumanhene, Barimah Sarfo Tweneboah Kodua, has commended Dr. Kwabena Duffuor for his outstanding leadership and commitment to the development of the area.
Speaking to the Ashanti Youth Caucus, led by Chairman Frank Basoah, after a successful donation ceremony, the Omanhene of Kumawu praised Dr. Duffuor’s dedication to promoting progress and his exemplary conduct in the face of adversity.
The chief specifically highlighted Dr. Duffuor’s mature handling of a recent controversy that erupted in the NDC Zongo community at Kumawu .
Despite being falsely accused of making inflammatory comments about the appointment of a Zongo representative as the DCE for Kumawu, Dr. Duffuor chose to remain silent and not fuel the situation. The Kumawumanhene commended Dr. Duffuor for exhibiting decency and maturity in the face of provocation.
The Omanhene also acknowledged Dr. Duffuor’s instrumental role in driving development initiatives in the area. He cited several projects, including road construction, electricity provision, hospital development, and access to potable drinking water, as evidence of Dr. Duffuor’s commitment to improving the lives of residents.
