The Chairman of the Finance Board of the NDC in the Ashanti Region, Lawyer Samuel Addo Otoo, has advised newly elected TEIN executives at Tamale Technical University to view leadership not merely as a position but as a service to be rendered.

He made these comments during the handing-over ceremony, organized by the Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) of the NDC under the theme “IGNITING POTENTIAL, INSPIRING CHANGE” at Tamale Technical University.

Speaking as the Guest Speaker of the occasion, he highlighted three pillars of potential necessary for successful leadership; the legality of purpose, the economy of time, and the currency of credibility. He believes these pillars are important pointers that can improve one’s leadership qualities.

He further urged the newly elected TEIN executives to serve with humility and charged members of the network to “demand excellence but offer full support to their leaders,” which he is certain will ensure they succeed together.

Lawyer Samuel Addo Otoo, who is also aspiring for the vice chairmanship position of the NDC, again used the opportunity to reannounce his willingness to serve the party in that portfolio, disclosing that “I am committed to integrating the brilliance of the youth into our national policy, to ensure they’re equipped to achieve not just their goals but the aspirations of the nation as a whole.”

Lastly, he expressed his unsoiled resolution that the New Democratic Congress remains the only attractive vehicle capable of steering the affairs of the country towards social justice and economic prosperity.
