Mr Luqman Nuhu Mohammed Appiadu,former Ashanti Regional Vice Chairman of the Ghana National Association Of Garages has officially picked nomination forms to contest the Chairmanship position of the association.
Nominations for Ashanti Regional Primaries was opened on July 18,2023.
Reasons for the primaries was to elect leaders to lead members in the Ashanti Region for the next four years ahead.
Speaking to newsmen after picking nominations ,Mr Luqman Nuhu Mohammed Appiadu made it known that his coming as the chairman is to make Suame-Magazine a better place to work.
According to him,as a former Ashanti Regional Vice Chairman,they saw to the fixed boundary of Suame,Tafo , magazine land and also looked for property documentations covering Suame-Magazine.
He revealed that, cadastral (map showing the extent, value and owner of land ) of Suame Tafo, magazine land has been done to solve issues of land litigation through his service as the vice regional chairman.
“We are working assiduously with the lands commission to furnish us with land lease for artisans who ply their trades at Suame ,Tafo ,magazine.”He revealed.
“My coming as the Chairman of Garages will see to the construction and completion of Suame, Tafo magazine bad roads since government has agreed to construct 20km inner roads.”He added.
His outfit will see to the construction and furnishing of the already started Hospital at Suame Magazine and also secure an ambulance to ensure the safety of workers in there.
He however preached unity among members and also called on delegates to vote for him to chair the association.
