Majority Leader Worried Over  Defeat of Two Incumbent MPs

Majority Leader and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Hon Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, has described it as unfortunate for delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to vote against some hardworking Members of Parliament (MPs).

According to him, it is regrettable for Lawyer Ben Abdella Banda, MP for Offinso South and Dr Mark Assibey Yeboah, MP for New Juaben South, to lose their seats.

Hon Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu during his acclamation yesterday as the Parliamentary Candidate for Suame, at some Electoral Areas, became shocked after hearing the defeat of some incumbent MPs.

Our investigations have revealed that Lawyer Ben Abdella Banda has been nurtured by the Majority Caucus to take a leadership roles in parliament.

According to our sources, Lawyer Abdella Banda has proven his competence in legislation therefore needs to be maintained to help the party.

According to our sources, Dr Mark Assibey Yeboah, has also proven to be one of the economic pillars in Parliament and always relied on to expantiate and defend economic issues.

Addressing delegates, Hon Osei-Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, disclosed that government laid foundation for some policies and projects for the betterment of Ghana.

According to him, Ghanaians will witness the fruits of the One-District One Factory , Free Senior High School, and other agricultural interventions during the second term of Nana Akuffo Addo administration.

According to him, after the second term, it will be very difficult for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to win power since Ghanaians must have seen the good works of the government

Accoding to him, the party is ready to weed out members who are desirous to create problems for the party.

Hon Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu therefore called for a United front to help guarantee the party , an overwhelming victory in 2020 general election..
