NPP Manhyia South Constituency Fashion Designers Association in the Ashanti Region,made up of Hairdressers, Dressmakers and Caterers have honoured the Member of Parliament for the area,Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh for his immense contribution towards the development of their wellbeing.
In citation of honoured presented to him in Kumasi , they indicated that Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh sponsored all their apprenticeship programs that have made them masters today.
According to them ,the support from the Energy Minister was in a form of monetary funds, sewing machines and other important tools to help them in the training. The MP also during and after the training resourced the beneficiaries.
The leaders of the Association used the occasion and presented to Dr Opoku Prempeh assorted African wear prints .
They together asked for God’s blessings for the MP so he can continue to extend help to the needy always
Dr Opoku Prempeh who expressed delight at the massive appreciation by the Association promised to do more for them and others.
He asked them to use the skills they have acquired to train others so they can equally benefit.
