A 30 -Year-old Mobile Money Vendor, Francis Larbie has committed suicide over Ghc15,000 debt at Awutu Bawjiase in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region.
Information gathered indicates that, fraudsters defrauded the deceased of the said amount and his employer ordered him to refund the money.
On Thursday November 30, 2023 around 6:00 am, the employer of the deceased had a discussion with him on how he can pay the money.
During the conversation, the victim asked for permission to his house thinking that, he was going to bring some of the money to defray the debt.
The owner of the business said that after 30 minutes, the deceased failed to return so he started calling his number.
He said after several calls, the deceased failed to respond, so he rushed to his house to find out the reason why he has kept long and also refusing to pick his falls.
But upon entering his room which was not locked, he shockingly found his employee hanged.
He immediately informed the Awutu Bawjiase police who arrived at the scene and conveyed the body to Agona Swedru Hospital Mortuay.
