Monotonous Days Of Governance:NDC NAT Andoh writes

Governance is a process of decision making and by the process the decisions are implemented (or not implemented).

A good governance has 8 major characteristics. It is participatory, consensus oriented, accountable, transparent, responsive, effective and efficient, equitable and inclusive and follows the rule of law. It assures that corruption is minimized, the views of minorities are taken into account and that the voice of vulnerable in society are heard in decision making. It is also responsive to the present and future needs of society.

Since January 2017 this NPP administration reveals their true arrogant posture and alligator mannerism which debunk the true definition of good governance and its characteristics.

Participatory as one of the characteristics of good governance is lost despite the president urgent call for citizenship and not spectators. The government don’t listen to any advice from any body in this country.

Consensus building has no legs in this NPP administration.
Accountability is a crime under this government. The attorney general is fighting the auditor general for publishing a report on COVID 19 expenditure to the Ghanaian populate who cued to vote and give them that power. Where is accountability?

Transparent has no role to play under this government. Why government can not go to parliament to explain to the people that gave them the power they have of the Gold for oil program embarking to help the ordinary Ghanaian as government claims.

Ministers are not performing and still at post where is that effective and efficient that good governance calls for ?
There is no rule of law. How can Bank of Ghana breach the law to print over 50 billion Ghana cedis to the government to spend in a single year?

Under this government we are experiencing one day one corruption despite the president promised to use Anas principles to fight corruption end up killing the principles.
Vulnerable are suffering to extent that our aged mothers and fathers who are on pension money are being expropriate.

Governance under this government is indeed monotonous to the ordinary Ghanaian.

NDC NAT ANDOH.
