MP For Amenfi Central Summoned Before NDC Disciplinary Committee,4 other Constituency Executives suspended

The National Secretariat of the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has suspended four constituency executives in Amenfi Central and has therefore summoned the desperate sitting Member of Parliament, Hon. Yaw Kwakye Ackah to appear before the committee.

In a statement dated June 6, 2024, signed by General Secretary of the party ,Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the NDC announced the suspension of the Constituency Chairman, Women’s Organizer, Deputy Organizer, and the Organizer.

The suspended executives were:

Mr. Raphael Andoh Kwaw (Chairman)
Mr. Richmond Aleke (Organizer)
Madam Grace Kwaw (Women’s Organizer)
Madam Janet Fynn (Deputy Women’s Organizer).

The statement explained that the suspensions take effect immediately after the release of the statement.

This was decided at a Functional Executive Committee (FEC) meeting on June 5, 2024. The suspensions will last for an initial period of six months and may be extended pending further investigation into alleged anti-party activities.

According to the statement sighted by broadcastergh.com, the sitting MP for Amenfi Central, Hon. Peter Yaw Kwakye Ackah, has been summoned to appear before the Party’s Political Committee.

In the interim,Mrs .Joana Gyan has been appointed as the Chairperson of former President John Dramani Mahama’s campaign team in the Constituency.
