Sheikh Abdul Moomen Haroun, Ashanti Regional Chief Imam has heaped praises on MTN,the leading telecommunication giant in Ghana for its support to Muslim community.
The Chief Imam made the commendation after receiving a white ram, 10 bags of rice, 27 packs of soft drinks, 10 packs of mineral water and One thousand cedis worth of airtime from MTN on Thursday,20th April,2023.
The donation which has become annual ritual to support Muslims to observe the climax of 30 days fasting and prayers was made by Nii Adotey Mingle, General Manager, MTN Northern Business District with the support of other officials of the Company.
The Chief Imam used the occasion to pray for MTN to succeed in all its activities in order to continue to give back to the community.
He also prayed for the peace and economic growth of Ghana.
Sheikh Abdul Moomen Haroun however, advised all Muslims especially the youth to be moderate in their celebration.
He cautioned the youth to desist from all acts that have potency to block their blessings for 30 days fasting and prayers.
