Muntaka Mubarak Pledges Support for Passport Processing Office in Mampong

The Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mubarak, has committed to collaborating with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa, to establish a passport processing office in Mampong municipality in the Ashanti Region.

This promise was made during the commissioning of a modern office complex for the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) ,Mampong Command which was constructed by Mr. Yaw Amponsah Marfo (Agya Wiase), CEO of Yesu Dea Transport .

Agya Wiase took the opportunity and donated a brand new Nissan Navara to the GIS to ease transport in addition to the office complex

The proposed passport processing center aims to provide residents in Mampong with convenient access to passport services, reducing the need to travel to other areas for processing.

Muntaka Mubarak believes that the new GIS office in Mampong necessitates the establishment of a passport processing office in the area.

As Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mubarak has emphasized the importance of enhancing national security. With his extensive experience in government and politics, he is well-positioned to drive meaningful change in the sector.

His vision for national security includes prioritizing measures to tackle the proliferation of arms and promoting gender equality within the security services .
