NAB-Empress Children Foundation,a foundation seeking to better the welfare of orphans and the needy in the society has officially been inaugurated in Bolgatanga, Capital of the Upper East Region of Ghana.
The foundation, as part of the inauguration placed over two hundred children on the National Health Insurance Scheme.
Speaking at the colourful ceremony, Empress Ali, Chief Executive Officer of the foundation said”growing up in poverty, kids face tough challenges: hunger and malnutrition, limited access to education and medical services, gang violence, social discrimination and isolation.
It does not have to be that way: together, we can transform the lives of children in poverty.
It starts right here, right now, when you help a child: Give one child the confidence, courage and life skills to become greater than poverty.”
She announced that,NAB-EMPRESS CHILDREN FOUNDATION, on the 2nd of December 2022 in the Upper East Region of Ghana was inaugurated to support under privileged children in the region and Ghana as a whole.
During the inauguration, over 200 children were registered into the National Health Insurance Scheme.
Empress Ali who doubles as an actress, nurse and CEO of NAB-EMPRESS PRODUCTION based in Bolgatanga said she aims to make sure most of the under privileged children in the region get the care that they need.
As part of the program under the Nab-Empress Children Foundation, she has already placed some of the children who lost their mothers during birth under her foundation to provide for their needs till they grow up.
