The Asawase women’s wing of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has picked form for Alhaji Manaf Ibrahim a parliamentary candidate hopeful for the constituency on the amount of GHS 3,000.
Speaking to the media, Mrs Elizabeth Asare, the women’s organizer for the party in the constituency who doubles as the chair person for ‘Manaf fan club’,Akrem branch, revealed that,the reason of which they picked the form is because they want the best for the constituents of Asawase.
She further stated that,Manaf is the best candidate for the party who can compete the Hon, Muntaka of the National Democratic Congress of the constituency.
She finally urged the delegates of the constituency to vote for Mr Ibrahim.
The polling station chairman for Asokore Mampong also in the constituency,Mr Oti Bio Parker Patrick, stated that he believes,Manaf can unit the members of the party and also bring members of the opposition NDC on board to win the seat for the NPP come 2024 general elections.
