Former Ghanaian Ambassador to Egypt and Saudi Arabia, H.E. Alhaji Said Sinare, has launched a scathing attack on the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), declaring that the party is bound to languish in opposition due to President John Dramani Mahama’s unmatched competence and visionary leadership.
Alhaji Sinare commended President Mahama for his pragmatic and people-centered leadership, which he believes is restoring confidence in governance and stabilizing the economy after years of reckless mismanagement under the NPP. He highlighted President Mahama’s efforts to tame inflation, stabilize the dollar rate, and create peace and unity in the country, demonstrating that Ghana is in safe hands under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) .
The National Chairman of the Zongo Caucus Working Committee of the NDC, H.E. Alhaji Said Sinare, described the NPP as a “fractured and rudderless ship” engulfed by internal strife, bitterness, and a credibility crisis. He cited intense factionalism, growing mistrust between party stalwarts, and their reluctance to release their 2024 Election Report as indicators of a party on life support .
Alhaji Sinare mocked the NPP’s recent attempt to claim progress under their tenure, describing it as “hallucinations born out of political trauma.” He emphasized that the NPP built nothing and broke everything, and their attempt to return with a new face would not deceive the people, as Ghana has moved on and the NDC under Mahama is the future.
Alhaji Sinare concluded by calling on all Ghanaians to rally behind President Mahama and the NDC to complete the rescue mission that has already begun. He praised President Mahama’s governance style, noting that his appointments are anchored on meritocracy and national interest, unlike the NPP’s nepotistic tendencies .
The NPP has fired back at Alhaji Sinare, with a member of the party’s communication team in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Rashid Salifu, describing him as a “disgraced political puppet” who traded his principles for political favor that never materialized .
