In a significant demonstration of commitment to improving the living standards of residents within the Oforikrom Municipality, Hon Anwel Sadat, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), yesterday undertook a working visit to the Aprade–Mesewam community.
The visit was prompted by earlier complaints from residents regarding the deplorable state of their road, which had posed considerable challenges to daily activities and the general livelihood of the community members.
Hon Sadat, responding promptly to the concerns raised by the residents, ensured that a drip machine was immediately deployed to the community to facilitate the clearing and repair of the affected road. The swift intervention aimed at restoring the road to a condition that would guarantee smooth and safe movement for the residents and visitors alike.
Upon completion of the repair works, Hon Sadat returned to the Aprade–Mesewam community accompanied by the Regional Urban Roads Director.
The purpose of the revisit was to conduct a thorough inspection of the road to ascertain that the work undertaken met the requisite standards.
The delegation was warmly received by the community members, who expressed profound appreciation for the prompt and effective intervention by the MCE’s office.
Residents of Aprade–Mesewam, who had long endured difficulties navigating the poor road network, voiced their gratitude to Hon Sadat for his responsiveness to their plips and the tangible difference it has made to their daily lives.
