In observance of National Sanitation Day, a significant clean-up exercise was conducted within the Old Tafo Municipality on Saturday, August 2, 2025.
The event, which spanned from Adabraka Junction to Pankrono, saw active participation from residents, local assembly officials, and key stakeholders .

, Hon. Abubakar Sadiq, Municipal Chief Executive of Old Tafo together with party activists joined the exercise.
Speaking to the former parliamentary candidate,he said that,the clean-up initiative underscored the community’s unified commitment to maintaining a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment.
Lawyer Sahmudeen Mohammed Kamil emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in sanitation efforts, stating, “Let’s keep the momentum going sanitation is everyone’s responsibility!”
