The family of the late Mr. Andrews Kwame Amankwah respectfully announces the one-week observation in honour of their beloved father, patriarch and statesman of the family, whose passing has deeply saddened relatives, friends and associates across the country.
Mr. Amankwah (1958–2026) lived a life defined by dignity, humility and unwavering devotion to his family and community. Widely admired for his calm disposition and principled outlook on life, he was a pillar of strength to many and a source of wise counsel to those who sought his guidance. His legacy of integrity, discipline and compassion remains firmly etched in the hearts of all who knew him.

The event will bring together family members, traditional leaders, colleagues, friends and well-wishers to reflect, pray and celebrate a life well lived. In keeping with cherished Ghanaian customs, the gathering will offer an opportunity for the public to commiserate with the bereaved family, sign the book of condolence and show solidarity during this period of mourning.
As the father-in-law of Sammy Gyamfi, CEO of GoldBod, Mr. Amankwah’s passing has drawn heartfelt tributes from individuals across political, corporate and social circles. Many have described him as a man whose quiet strength and moral uprightness profoundly influenced those around him.
