A trending story in Ghana involving a man named Opoku Kofi Williams, who is known to be a bisexual activist (strongly into gay activities) to be the son of Mr. Kwame Danso and Mrs. Afia Ayowa who are currently living in Ghana, Ejisu Besease has resulted in breaking of many traditional and customs norms in the Ghanaian society. Opoku Kofi Williams, who is a Ghanaian citizen and hold no other citizenship is believed to have stayed in South Africa for a couple of years after traveling from Ghana in the year 2007 on facing several attacks from family members, xenophobic groups and society at large because of his attractions towards to his fellow men (gay).
The partner of Opoku Kofi Williams who is name as “Kwaku Prince” attending the same Junior High School with Opoku Kofi Williams but was in a lower class than him were into secrete (illegal) relationship affair since they both have interest in gay activities and have common feminine behavior. During the secret (illegal) affair between Mr. Opoku Kofi Williams and his partner, Kwaku Prince a lady believing to be the girlfriend of Mr. Opoku Kofi Williams discovered a picture of Mr. Opoku Kofi Williams and his partner been unclothed(naked) which led him (Mr. Opoku Kofi Williams) fled away from his own country having a fear of been arrested by the police since the government is against homosexuality and bisexual.
The father of Mr. Opoku Kofi Williams who strongly disapproved of homosexuality and bisexual has raised concerns about the news about his son that he made a statement to his son of his desire to such abominable behavior which prohibited in the society, but yet his son did not listen to words and therefore he is disappointed in his son and is no more part of his biological sons, the father said this in an interview with a journalist. And upon several interviews the journalist had with family of Mr. Opoku Kofi Williams reveals that he has been summoned with a proof of court. Mr. Opoku Kofi Williams, who has been on the notice for about 2 years ago of traveling secretly into his country was discovered by his wife Mrs. Mbavhalelo Gloria Opoku, to be engaging in homosexual and bisexual activities in South Africa. She informed his father in Ghana, who became gravely ill upon learning the news. Now, Mr. Williams’ life is in danger because a group in Ghana intends to harm or kill him if he dares to return to Ghana again due to his sexual orientation, believing he will corrupt the community’s youth.
Mr. Opoku Kofi Williams who is been accused and subjected to different offenses which is having a threat on his life and having unpleasant mind to even return back to his country, Ghana is in a dilemma state.
