Do Not Eat Carrots If You Have Any Of These Health Problems

Carrots are also known as ducts carota is a root vegetable, usually orange in color, though purple, black, red, white, and yellow cultivars exist. It is crunchy, tasty, and highly nutritious. Carrots are a particularly good source of beta carotene, fiber, vitamins, potassium, and antioxidants.

Aside from the numerous health benefit, s there are some groups of people that should either abstain or should avoid eating too many carrots. This group of people is:

1. People with Hypothyroidism: Hypothyroidism is abnormally low activity of the thyroid gland, resulting in retardation of growth and mental development in children and adults. carrot contains a compound called beta- carotene. eating carrots may not be good for people with Hypothyroidism since their body system can’ t change it to vitamin A. Such people should avoid eating carrots.

 

2. Some people who have oral allergies: This is the group of people who mouth itch when they eat carrots but this doesn’ t tend to happen if the carrot is well cooked. This person is advised to only eat cooked carrots.

3. Those with an upset stomach: If you are having stomach problems like bloating and the like please you should go easy on carrots. This particular veggie has a varied digestion rate in the body depending on how your system works.

 

4. Those having sensitive skin: Eating too many carrots is linked to a health disorder called Carotenemia. Carotenemia is simply yellow- orange pigmentation that appears on your skin as a cause of excess beta- carotene in your diet.
