In the wake of a devastating helicopter crash, the Oti Region is in mourning. The Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs), spearheaded by Hon. Prosper Kwaku Addo, the Municipal Chief Executive of Krachi West, and the Dean of MMDCEs for the Oti Region, are leading the tributes for the eight individuals lost in the tragedy. The nation is in a state of grief, with flags lowered in respect.
Hon. Prosper Kwaku Addo expressed deep gratitude for the lives lost, recognizing their service and sacrifice in protecting the nation. He highlighted their dedication to safeguarding the land from potential threats. He extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased, offering prayers for their solace and comfort during this difficult time.
Hon. Joseph Awal Antwi, the Municipal Chief Executive of Nkwanta South, also shared his condolences, emphasizing the significance of the fallen individuals and their contributions to Ghana’s future. He lamented the insensitive use of social media to create humor and mock the deceased, condemning such actions. He appealed to John Dramani Mahama to establish a team to address and stop these unacceptable behaviors. Hon. Antwi called for respect and dignity for the fallen heroes and their families during this period of mourning.
