The Oti Regional Minister, Hon. John Kwadzo Gyapong, embarked on a tour today to inspect several Agenda 111 projects that have been abandoned for over five years.

The minister met with contractors on-site to gather reports on the reasons for the project delays.

During an interview with the media, the minister expressed concern over the abandoned projects, questioning contractors about the reasons for halting work. He requested reports outlining the project costs, completion percentages, and the reasons for the delays before committing to resuming work.

An operations manager from one of the abandoned projects, Mr. Frank Sekyi, complained about the lack of attention from previous administrations, citing this as a key factor in the project’s stagnation. He also stated that the company had not received any funding for the past eight months, further hindering progress.
