The Chief Executive Officer of PIWAK Natural Health, producers of 3P garlic mixture, Dr. Prince Nelson Mortoti, has appealed to the general public to adopt measures that will curtail the spread of monkeypox in the country.
Monkeypox is an illness caused by the monkeypox virus, which can spread to humans from an animal host, such as rodents or nonhuman primates like monkeys, and also between people.
Dr. Mortoti explained that in humans, monkeypox can cause flu-like symptoms and an itchy, painful rash.
He emphasized that the virus can spread through close contact of any kind, including kissing, touching, oral and penetrative vaginal or anal sex with someone who is infectious.
By avoiding these measures, Ghanaians can reduce their risk of contracting the virus.
The Ghana Health Service (GHS) recently confirmed two new cases of monkeypox in the Accra Metropolitan Area of the Greater Accra Region, prompting Dr. Mortoti to add his voice to the call for Ghanaians to take necessary precautions.
In response to the new cases, the GHS has directed all regional health directors to reactivate their public health emergency operations centres and step up surveillance, risk communication, and case management efforts across the country.
The two new cases mark the first confirmed infections this year, and health officials are currently conducting contact tracing to prevent further spread.
Dr. Mortoti’s appeal to the public comes at a critical time, and his expertise as a seasoned herbal practitioner has led him to urge Ghanaians to take proactive measures to protect themselves.
Dr. Mortoti also recommended that Ghanaians consume 3P garlic mixture to boost their immune system and fight against various diseases.
He emphasized the importance of taking proactive measures to prevent the spread of monkeypox and other diseases.
Dr. Prince Nelson Mortoti’s appeal to the public to adopt measures to curtail the spread of monkeypox is a timely reminder of the importance of taking proactive steps to protect ourselves and our communities.
By understanding the causes and symptoms of monkeypox and taking necessary precautions, Ghanaians can reduce their risk of contracting the virus. The Ghana Health Service’s response to the new cases demonstrates the government’s commitment to preventing the spread of the disease, and Dr. Mortoti’s recommendation of 3P garlic mixture provides an additional measure to boost the immune system.
