Samuel George, the Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, is calling for swift action after Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings was allegedly insulted during a parliamentary session.
The insult, “daughter of a murderer,” was heard while Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin was addressing the House on February 4.
Hon Sam George is urging Parliament to investigate and sanction the culprit, emphasizing the need to uphold the institution’s integrity.
Hon Sam George suggests using CCTV footage and forensic voice analysis to identify the person responsible. He believes this is crucial in setting a precedent and maintaining Parliament’s integrity. Meanwhile, Damongo MP Samuel Jinapor has denied allegations that he made the remark, stating that such language does not reflect his character and that the accusation is completely false .
