Sefwi Akontombra MP files nominations to contest once again

The incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Sefwi Akontombra Constituency, in the Western North Region, Mr. Alex Djornobuah Tetteh has filed his nominations to contest for NPP’s parliamentary primaries once again.

Mr. Tetteh, who is contesting for the third term, submitted his forms to the party’s constituency office at Sefwi Akontombra after satisfying all the mandatory filling fees.

The Member of Parliament (MP) was accompiened by Constituency Executives, Polling Stations Executives, Electoral Area Coordinators, and the Council of Elders

The rest were delegates, some party faithfuls, as well as the parliamentary candidate for Aowin Constituency, Abanga Fuseni, to support his Parliamentary bid.

The delegates were clad in NPP branded T-shirs with an inscription *””unopposed””* the back of the T-shirts.

The crowd of the executives hit the principal street of Akontombra with brass band for jubilation.

Speaking with the media after the filling of the nomination forms, Mr Tetteh thanked the regional executives, constituency executives, polling station executives, delegates, and party supporters for their massive support and committment for the party.

Mr. Alex Tetteh encouraged the Constituency Executives and party supporters to really behind the NPP government to break the eight years mantra and retain him aa their MP.

The MP, who was the former Deputy Minister for Western North Region, highlighted some of his achievements as construction of roads, class blocks, CHPS compounds, electrification projects, and financial support to brilliant but needy students.

Others include job opportunities for graduates into the Ghana Education Service, National Fire Service, Ghana Police Service, National Ambulance Service, and Ghana Arms Forces among others.

He was confidence in the party members and his achievements would go a long way to retain the seat and secure more votes for the flagbearer Dr. Mohamudu Bawumia.

The Chairman for Sefwi Akontombra Constituency, Mr Isaac Akyeah Addea who received the nominitions form called for total unity among the party members within the Akontombra Constituency ahead of the 2024 parliamentary and presidential elections in order to retain the Akontombra seat for more development.
