Senior UG Lecturer Appointed Campaign Coordinator For Kennedy Agyapong

Dr. Alhassan Sulemana Anamzoya’s appointment comes on the back of a meeting with the Assin Central Member of Parliament where plans and vision for the campaign were discussed before he accepted the leading role.

Dr. Anamzoya told Tamale-based Radio Tamale that he has had interactions with almost all flagbearer aspirants of the party but accepted to play a role for the Ken’s campaign because his vision for party and country were more practical and convincing than the others.

It is not known why Mr Agyapong settled on the senior lecturer but sources say the businessman is building a campaign team of people with unquestionable integrity and Dr. Anamzoya fit the bill considering his incorruptible and eminent desire to protect the public purse did not sit well with so many people who eventually found a way to oust him CEO for the Northern Development Authority.

Dr. Anamzoya’s immediate task is to build a formidable team for the Ken’s campaign but he said that will not be too much of a problem considering that lots of young and vibrant people who are now occupying influential positions in the party passed through his hands at the University and will readily accept the task should he call on them.

As CEO of the NDA, the lecturer also played a pivotal role in ensuring NPP kept its 50% share of parliamentary seats in the Northern as he campaigned and also donated motorbikes to help the movement of party activists to the hinterlands to canvas for votes for the party.

Dr. Anamzoya said his interaction with many party faithful during his time as chief of the NDA means he knows the right people for the job and he has already begun contacting them to support Kennedy Agyapong’s presidential ambition.
