Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah, the NPP parliamentary candidate for Offinso North Constituency in the Ashanti Region has debunked alleged apathy among members of the party in the constituency.
“There is no human apathy in the constituency after the parliamentary primaries”, he assured.
“We have all come together after the primaries and we are working together as a team in making sure that I retain the seat as the MP and ensure that Dr. Mahamodu Bawumia wins the 2024 Presidential elections,” Dr. Kyei assured.
The occasion was the inauguration of the party’s campaign team at Akomadan ,the District capital ahead of elections 2024 when he spoke to newsmen in an interview.
According to him , their focus is to work hard and win election 2024 because they used their eight years in government to reshape the foundation of the country.
“The Country was in bad shape when we took over in 2016 but through the hard work of the Nana Akufo-Addo and Bawumia led administration we have been able to clear all the bushes we inherited, now we have planted the seeds and are now nurturing them.
“We have to break the ‘8’ and see them grow for the benefit of Ghanaians and younger generations yet unborn.
He said this could be achieved through the commitment and dedication and said, NPP offinso North is ever ready to work and break the ‘8’.
“We are already united in the Constituency, so I’m pleading with all and sundry (NPP, NDC and other independent candidates) to come on board and join hands on deck to win power for the NPP so that we can continue with ongoing projects and programs for the betterment of Offinso North Constituency and Ghana at large.
Meanwhile, the MP as part of measures to ensure peaceful election 2024 has organised a unity gala for the constituents in a bid to unearth potentials of those who have passion for football.
