Executives of United Progressive Party (UPP) headed by Kenneth Nana Kwame Asamoah with Bukar Kuoru as the AG. Secretary have wished all Muslims a joyous Eid-ul- Fitr. In a statement copied to broadcastergh.com this morning, it was indicated that, the UPP recognises the essence and significance of Ramadan and therefore wishes to congratulate their Muslim brothers and sisters for bringing the thirty days fasting to an end. ‘We congratulate Muslims in Ghana and around the globe for a successful fast. We commend them for the discipline, faith, religiousity they have displayed for this 30 holy days’ We hope that the blessings that this month has bestowed on muslims will affect the very foundations of this country so that Ghanaians will have a change of attitude and work ethics. We are optimistic that this will continue like this even after this month of Ramadan so that it can impact the economy more positively. A religious nation that fears God is a progressive one.’It was indicated in the statement.
