About 50,000 youth in Obuasi West Constituency in the Ashanti Region exhibited their crazy dance to cheer up the National Democratic Congress (NDC) when the
Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NDC,Chairman Nana Akwasi and other bigwigs of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), stormed the Obuasi West Constituency with Unity Walk ahead of election 2024.
The walk which is to Mobilize the Grassroots in every corner of the region and Ghana at large is also aimed at winning the 2024 general elections for both John Dramani Mahama and the parliamentary candidates across board.
Speaking to this online portal most of the youth expressed confidence in John Dramani Mahama’s second coming.
Indicating that the 24hr economic policy will create more jobs opportunities for Ghanaians , especially the youth who are energetic.
They however appealed to Ghanaians to vote massively for John Dramani Mahama and the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for the area, Madam Faustina Appiah Kannin
The walk is again aimed at fostering unity within the party, and also seeks to “heal” it after its humiliating defeat in the December 2020 election.
The thousands of party supporters and leaders, marched through some principal streets in the Obuasi municipality, singing, dancing and drumming.
Aside the peaceful procession, some supporters were happy to see the NDC winning election 2024.
In attendance from the Ashanti regional party included Hon Ofori Agyeman Boadi(Former Obuasi Municipal Chief Executive), Hon Abu National, Mr Prince Arthur, Ashanti Regional Deputy Treasurer, Mr Baah Achamfour, Ashanti Regional Deputy Secretary, Mr Flynn, Deputy Youth Organizer,etc.
