Former District Chief Executive for Asante Akim South in the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama’s administration, Hon De Graft Fokuo has asserted that the NDC government performed admirably during their term of office in 2012-2016.
According to him, John Dramani Mahama’s administration achieved significant successes across various sectors of the economy.
Speaking to party faithfuls at Nkwanta in the Asante Akim South Constituency in the Asante Region during a campaign tour of the constituency with the Ashanti regional chairman,Nana Akwasi and his campaign team this afternoon,he urged Ghanaians to entrust John Dramani Mahama with their mandate, to continue the work initiated by the NDC government.
He said John Dramani Mahama and himself as the then DCE did not betray the mandate the good people of Ghana conferred on them on their successive occasions.
He cited the establishment of Nkwanta Presbyterian Primary School, construction of 6 boreholes, introduction of school feeding project to Nkwantaman and rural electrification project to Nkwanta community as some of the achievement he brought to the community when he was the DCE.
According to him, all communities within his District benefited from equally important projects with the tenure of the NDC.
“NDC is development oriented political party and this is the reason Ghanaians should entrust them with their votes in election 2024.” He indicated.
He however appealed to the people of Asante Akim South constituency to vote massively for the NDC parliamentary candidate for the area, Maame Sarfoah Appiah as the next MP for total transformation.
