We need Mahama in our palace-Asante Akim Central Chiefs Appeal

Traditional Authorities in Konongo, the capital of Asante Akim Central constituency in the Ashanti region are calling on the 2024 flagbearer of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama to visit their palace before the general elections.

According to them ,the palace had good relationship with John Dramani Mahama during the reign of their late Chief,Nana Batafo Acheapong.

They were of the view that his visits in years gone were exceptional and they wish such relationship is extended to their new Chief.

Speaking to Mr Augustus Andrews Nana Akwasi, the Ashanti regional chairman of the NDC during a visit to the palace today, Chief linquist of Konongo palace, Nana Yaw Frimpong ,officially appealed to the NDC Chairman to ensure that Mahama pays courtesy call on them to establish the everlasting relationship they have established.

“We will be happy to see John Dramani Mahama here once again, he’s a good man and we wish to witness his presence before the elections. ” The Chief linquist further indicated.

On his part, the Ashanti regional Chairman of the NDC , Augustus Andrews Nana Akwasi promised to ensure that the incoming President of the Republic pays courtesy call on them anytime he visits the Ashanti region.

He was of much concerned about the timing which he said was not appropriate but promised to deliver on his promises if the opportunity comes.

He used the opportunity to preach about the need to vote for John Dramani Mahama in election 2024.

He told Nananom that Mahama’s second coming will see to the establishment of Women’s Development Bank which he said will give women loans to establish their own businesses with little interest.

Again, the introduction of the 24hr economy will also bring job opportunities to the youth so that everyone will be self- sufficient .

He promised that, Mahama’s second coming will see to the cancellation of obnoxious taxes like the E-levy, betting taxes, among others..
