The Deputy North East Regional Tescon Coordinator of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Communications Director of Bawumia Must Win in the North East region, Mr Ibrahim Gomna has stated that it is only Dr Bawumia who can beat John Mahama in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
To him, it is only Dr Bawumia who led the NPP to win the 2024 general elections in the presidential race.
Mr Gomna added that it is time for delegates to award Dr Bawumia for being loyal and competent to President Akufo Addo and the NPP as a party.
In an interview with Nhyiraba Nartey Solomon of Bryt FM, Mr Gomnasaid that Dr Bawumia is specialized in macroeconomics, international economics, development economics and monetary policy.
Mr Gomna said that Dr Bawumia under the 4th Republic, where among others he chaired the country’s Economic Management Team and oversaw the implementation of many innovative policies and programs in the country.
He stated Dr Bawumia has rolled out Africa’s most advanced form of Mobile Money Interoperability, the world’s biggest medical drone system, and the implementation of a paperless system at the country’s ports and others.
He averred that Dr. Bawumia has gained significant public acclaim for his humanitarian efforts to alleviate the plight of cured lepers and street children. Mr Gomna asserted that Dr. Bawumia has also driven to digitize the economy and make access to Government services easier and more accessible.
He urged all Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON) to support Dr. Bawumia adding that there is going to be a higher priority to TESCON members across the country.
