Remarkable Moment As Amoamanhene Grabs  International Honorary Award From George Fox University

 Nana Agyenim Boateng I ,Chief of  Amoaman,a fast growing community  in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District in the Ashanti Region has finally received an International Honorary Fellowship Award at The School Of Business  Auditorium , Kwame Nkrumah University Of Science and Technolog  by George Fox University,USA.
Nana Agyenim Boateng I is also  the Managing Director of Cocoa Processing Company (CPC) in Ghana.
Speaking at the event , Superintendent General,His Viscount Isaac Rockson said that,the governing council at George Fox University in Newberg OR, USA, has the pleasure to honour Nana Agyenim Boateng I  together with  the joint committee of the faculty of the College of Physical Therapy upon the  approval of  the recommendation proposed by Rectitude International Mission and its affiliate with the Bureau of Research on Governance, Commerce, and Administration (BORGCA) .
Nana Agyenim Boateng I received an Honorary Fellowship Doctor of
Philosophy in Executive Leadership and Public Service [Honoris Causa].
The institution  distinguished Amoamanhene , of his outstanding
leadership achievements, commitment, integrity, and dedication to hard-work;
henceforward his  conferment with an Honorary Doctorate Degree award today.
According to His  Viscount Lord Isaac Rockson,Nana Agyenim Boateng I has been recognized for his outstanding achievements, commitment, dedication to hard-work towards the development of Ghana .
PROFILE OF NANA AGYENIM BOATENG I
NANA AGYENIM BOATENG I, known in private life as Mr. George Kwadwo Boateng was born on Monday, 19th October, 1958 in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. He is the Chief of Amoaman in the Atwima Nwabiagya District of the Ashanti Region and the Managing Director of the Cocoa Processing Co. Ltd (CPC).
ENSTOOLMENT AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS
Mr. George Kwadwo Boateng was enstooled on 24th February. 2011 as Nana Agyenim Boateng I by His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
In his 1st year of enstoolment as the Amoamanhene, Nana constructed a modern school facility for his community from Crèche to Junior High.
Nana Agyenim Boateng I also re-constructed a dilapidated and abandoned road for his people which helped in a great deal especially in the carting of foodstuff from the hinterlands.
He again saw the need to demarcate the community lands for easy accessibility.
Nana assisted in securing a Health facility (CHPS Compound) for his community. This was to lessen their burden of travelling long distances to seek medical care.
Nana Agyenim Boateng I who is also the Liaison Officer of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, has assisted the King on several projects, notable amongst such is the construction of the Kejetia Market, (the largest Market in West Africa) with Contracta Engenharia from Brazil on behalf of His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for Ghana.
The same Company Contracta Engenharia is again responsible for the construction of the Kumasi Airport and the expansion of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
WORKING LIFE
Nana Agyenim Boateng I begun his working life at the Produce Buying Company Limited (PBC), a subsidiary of the Ghana Cocoa Marketing Board. By dint of hard work, he was transferred from Accra to Swedru as the Regional Traffic Officer.
In 1994, by his leadership skills, Nana was transferred back to Accra as the Deputy Operations Manager of PBC where he introduced a new and innovative system of Fleet Management Planning which made huge savings for the company.
With his vast and rich experience in the Cocoa Sector, Nana Agyenim Boateng I set up the Cocoa Merchants Company Limited (a licensed Buying Company) in 1998 with the support of Alhaji Adamu Iddrisu of blessed memory.
In the year 2000 the late Alhaji Iddrisu promoted him to the position of Managing Director of Global Haulage Ltd. Global Haulage Ltd chalked many successes during his tenure of office.
In 2006, the then President of Ghana, His Excellency Mr. John Agyekum Kuffuor negotiated with Alhaji Adamu Iddrisu to bring Nana Agyenim Boateng I back to PBC as the Deputy Managing Director.
Nana together with the Managing Director helped in transforming PBC which was facing financial crisis at the time to place 1st position two times running in 2009/2010 and placed 2nd (2011/2012) in the Ghana Club 100 awards.
Nana Agyenim Boateng was instrumental in building the Golden Bean Hotel, one of the best and well patronized hotels in the Ashanti Region.
The Buipe Shea Butter Plant now in the Savanah Region was also one of his numerous projects.
In 2017, the current President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo appointed Nana Agyenim Boateng I as the Managing Director of the Cocoa Processing Co. Ltd (CPC) where he chalked a record success in the history of the company since 1965.
Nana Agyenim Boateng I has distinguished himself as one of the best to reckon with in Cocoa production. He is a unique individual who has achieved a lot for his community and the country at large.
