Today, a lot of young men and ladies want to have intimate relationship without getting pregnant. As a result, most men and women have adopted several birth control methods to help family planning and prevent unwanted pregnancies. According to WebMD and the Journal of Sexual Health and Family Planning, there is evidence that a single dose of castor seeds with the outer coat removed (hulled) can work as a contraceptive for up to 8-12 months.
Castor seeds have been used as a birth control method by our forefathers from the beginning of time. Castor seed does have antifertility properties and can help prevent pregnancy after unprotected intercourse.
However, there are some risks to be considered? Castor seeds contain ricin, a toxic protein. Consumers who use castor seeds to avoid pregnancy may be exposed to ricin, which can cause major health problems, according to the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Gynaecology Association.
