The main difference between syphilis sores and HIV sores around the genitals is something that I believe it should be made known to everyone.
Syphilis and HIV are all sexual transmitted diseases (STDs).
Syphilis is a highly contagious disease usually spread through sexual activities. During a sexual activity with someone who has syphilis, you might experience or discover some painless sores on your genital. When this happens, it means you have been affected with syphilis.
HIV stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus. It is a virus that attacks the cells that protect the body from infection. Sores around the genitals is one of the symptoms of HIV. This type of sore is actually very painful. So if anybody find out that there is a painful sore around his or her genitals, then he or she should know that it is HIV.
Meaning that, sores of syphilis are different from sore of HIV.
Sores of HIV are painful whiles sores of syphilis are not painful.
This means that, not all sores around the genitals are painful.
