The free Senior High School will only not transform education but it will go a long way to bring life investment into the country.
“Since education is a key to a successful life” President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo led NPP government is saying , the policy will soon catch up in remolding attitude of learning among Ghanaian students, a situation he said requisite skills coupled with modules of how the government is structuring academic and vocational education stand better chance of inviting the youth to think and create something out of nothing and even re-kindle the spirit of the youth absence in Agriculture.
Speaking during Kumasi High School 9th Speech and Prize Giving Day in Ashanti region, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum explained that the challenges in the implementation of the free SHS is of limited of infrastructural problems which will solve very soon.
He said the inception of reviving Vocational, Agricultural and Technical Schools in the country is compelling Ghana focusing on using technology to produce our domestic appliances as well as technology in agriculture to ensure food abundance in the country.
This, Dr Adutwum was on the view that life expectancy will increase among Ghanaians including the aged who will be carter for due to transformation currently going on in medical schools to produce qualify doctors as all in the result of free accessible education in Ghana.
Mr. Bernard Hall-Baidoo the Headmaster of the school observed that, Kumasi High school is A class school so there is the need to receive the honour the school deserves.
He told that the school needed some amenities such as maintaining and renovation of some of the school structure such as bathrooms, block painting, asphalt streets, acute water shortages and among others.
He therefore thanked the old boys of the school for generously donated to the school but said, “Oliver Twist asking for more” from the old boys.
