At the Fifteenth (15th) Edition of the Unity Annual Thanksgiving Service, the Founder and Chairman of the Unity Group of Companies, Dr. Kwame Kyei assured Ghanaians that the Almighty God will see us through in 2023, despite economic challenges.
According to Dr. Kyei, we should have faith in the Lord because in Him is life and once life is secured in Him, we have hope to overcome the economic challenges we are currently facing as a country. Dr. Kwame Kyei challenged Ghanaians present at the Annual Thanksgiving Service, to “go crazy” for Jesus Christ because He is our Lord and Saviour and to be constantly grateful to Him because He is a God who does not disappoint.
This year’s Unity Annual Thanksgiving Service was held at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex at Abrankese in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti Region, on Jan 13, 2023.
The Unity Annual Thanksgiving Service is instituted to give praise and glory to God for His protection and blessings. The Annual Thanksgiving Service was a free event for the public and was very well attended.
Variety of bands and singers and bands from different countries across Africa, come together to usher the people into praise and worship.
Since it comprised several performances by different individuals, the great feel of diversity in the genres of gospel music is what makes the night a glorious one!
The programme commenced with prayer, giving thanks to God and special prayers toward the Founder of the group and his family.
Renowned Ghanaian gospel artistes such as Elder Akwasi Mireku, Cecilia Marfo, Diana Hamilton, KODA, Soul Winners, Kwaku Gyasi, Professor Kofi Abraham, Deacon Sammy Baah, DSP Kofi Sarpong, Efe Grace, Evergreen Mark Anim Yirenkyi, among others, were present and performed at the Annual Thanksgiving Service.

The featuring headline gospel artistes were NTOKOZO MBAMBO from South Africa and UCHE AGU from Nigeria, who rocked the audience into an awesome night of lifting higher praises to God.
The music was simply ecstatic and extremely involving; one would not evade dancing and nodding to the precious piano tunes and drumbeats as they changed and flowed smoothly form one genre to the other- a diverse showcase!
All employees of the Unity Group as well as Christians from various denominations and other religious sect; people from different races and classes too, adults and youths, as well as few children accompanied by their parents – it was a homogenous representation!
Some of the dignitaries that graced the Annual Unity Thanksgiving include Dr. Samuel Sarpong, Former Ashanti Regional Minister, the Traditional Leaders of Abrankese, a delegation from Manhyia and other noble Chiefs.
