President of the Tertiary Student Confederacy  group at the  Akenten Appiah Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) Kumasi, Osei-Wusu Nkwantabisa, has appealed to beneficiaries of the NPP free SHS policy not to turn their backs on the NPP as they enter various Tertiary institutions.

According to the young politician, the free SHS policy by the NPP government has touched and imparted many young lives in our educational system as a nation.

“I am  therefore, appealing to students who benefited from this outstanding social policy program  from the Akufo Addo government and have gained admission into various Tertiary institutions, to look no further, when considering a political party to join”
“The alternative is empty, and if you look beyond NPP as a tertiary student; you are causing much harm to yourself”

He added, by pointing out how the NPP government has proceeded to introduce the “No Guarantor Student Loan Policy,” a promise by the Akufo-Addo government prior to the 2020 elections, just to make tertiary education accessible to Ghanaian youth, especially graduates from the highly subscribed Free Senior High School policy.

Nkwantabisa stated, he would like to see a massive increase in number of the intellectual wing of the NPP group  in various Tertiary institutions to be a proof of how beneficiaries of the free SHS want to sustain the policy for future generation.

He made this call, when he and his executives of the Tertiary student Confedracy (TESCON) group  at the  Akenten Appiah Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development, mounts the stage to welcome freshers and continuing students to the school and to register them to be part of the TESCON group on campus over the weekend.
